About Lea

Lea Micic is a private counsellor and psychotherapist located in Prague. She trained at Goldsmiths, University of London for her master’s degree in counselling. As part of the training, she offered services as a primary school counsellor through a non-profit organisation. She then moved on to work with adults, during which time she met clients dealing with a variety of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, PTSD, domestic violence and issues with self-harm.

In her counselling and psychotherapy work she recognises the importance of creating a safe, non- judgemental and confidential space for her clients and puts great emphasis to achieve this. Consistently creating this kind of environment helps her to explore the client's issues, and together reflect on the required steps for future well-being.

Having lived in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, Lea speaks English, Russian and Serbian. Currently, she continues to develop her understanding of individual needs and cultural differences. Another personal interest is working with people on the autistic spectrum, both children and adults alike.

Lea provides counselling and therapy face to face and via Skype. She is an an associate of The City Practice and Prague Integration in Prague, where face to face sessions are held.
